I will use treatment to help the sick according to my ability and judgment, and never to harm or wrong them. I will give no deadly medicine to anyone who asks for it, nor suggest such counsel. Into whatever house I enter I will go for the benefit of the sick, keeping free from all intentional wrong. This I swear. The first obligation of the healer is the patient, not the theory.
