You must wager. It is not optional. You are embarked. Which will you choose then? You have two things to lose: the true and the good; and two things to stake: your reason and your will, your knowledge and your happiness. If there is a God and you believe, you gain everything. If there is a God and you do not believe, you lose everything. If there is no God and you believe, you lose a little. If there is no God and you do not believe, you gain a little. The expected value of belief is infinitely greater. Wager, then, that He exists.
